Not sure about you but when things around you aren't making sense, it is time to figure out why. Something else is going on underneath of you and you are being patsy'd and pointed toward a hoax...
For example when you are about to be fired, no one tells you, no one drops hints... But after going through that process several times one can see the same mechanizations working underneath of you and recognize it is time to get out. Example: one first hint is that no one pushes back on your long term goals and plans. They verbally agree to absolute everything. They know you won't be around to start them.
I am currently reading the details of the last days of peace occurring in Europe August 31st, 1939. The order to march on Poland at 4:43 the next morning was already signed, sealed, and delivered; Hitler had many meetings over the summer to psychologically prepare his Generals as to why they HAD to march on September 1st, and the last minute burst of diplomacy announcing a huge major concession to the Poles was simply a hoax perpetuated by the German High Command to keep the Anglo-French off-guard so they could not threaten Germany's very lightly defended western flank. it is sad reading, because you had several amazing heroes of naught who felt world peace was strictly in their hands and tirelessly shuttled back and forth between London and Berlin... All later found out at the Nuremberg trials it was all for naught, the Germans knowingly played them.
Or this. When a company is bought... no new senior manager comes in and directly says, we are closing and selling the assets, you will be fired by this date. Instead they pretend they are going to make great changes and their scared staff, gullible for having no alternative stays onboard way too long. But they soon notice that no one seems to care how things are being run. No accountability... The executive is out golfing every weekend. Then surprise...
Today, we have a president who doesn't want to be there. He doesn't like work. He abhors details. We have either a reality show host or a Simpson cartoon TV personality who is "playing" president on TV. So let's review what we do have?
1) We have each cabinet appointee dedicated to destroying the cabinet they run.. (except for Defense and Homeland Security).... meaning when all fails, our military and police are the only ones who can effectively restore order.
2) We have the odor of collusion with the "Soviet Union" ( not Yeltsin's Russia, I choose the Soviet Union as a more defining characterization in describing the iron fist against which we are dealing). Whereas "Russky Communists" once were what society called out our more liberal elements, it has now flipped and those most conservative elements of Americana, have climbed in bed and are Putin's biggest admirers.
3) We have 2 avowed White Supremacists appointed to the President's "inner chamber"...
4) Of all the promises made on the campaign trail, nothing substantial has been done. Compared to Obama, Trump is down.
5) We have two immediate family members on the council.... Even though against the law.
6) We have a leader who has no respect for formal law. Emoluments? "My sons will pretend to run the business" was the answer. Talking to Russia? "What's wrong with it" the obvious response from someone who asked Russia to hack Hillary's email account..
Idi Amin, anyone? Way too much similarity for comfort. In this oval office, all the trends that take place in 3rd world dictatorial nations, are now in place.
Normally everyone would revolt, right? But we are a nation of laws. and using our law to solve this problem we feel is far better than murder, mayhem and Civil War, right?
But it seems like every time we move forward to make a stand in enforcing the laws enhanced by the Constitution, some Republican in Congress steps up to foil them....
And it has happened often enough that we ought to consider this alternative... That these Republicans are NOT working to protect their party... Whatever their intention, they ARE working to destroy the United States of America. This should not be a new thought to you. i'm sure you have been rationalizing yourself out of such thoughts since Trump accepted the nomination.
Prime example: the Supreme Court nomination under Obama. Is that normal? Or was that done to destroy the United States of America?... For that IS what it has done. Whether or not the current nominee gets elected, the whole process of election Supreme Court judges is now a cartoon. Like pre-War Europe and Russia, or Paraguay, or Nigeria.
In 2010 our FBI uncovered sleeper cells left over from the Cold War… They were alive and well in the US today. Even their children were surprised at their arrests.
Just from watching Capitol Hill for a long period of time, one can see there are two types of Republicans... Those who deeply care about their country by their actions, and those, who simply don't... Flat out. Not one bit. You can tell the difference in the two by how each reacts to this current president... The real ones, are shocked, and not afraid to say so. The fake ones, like Newt Gingrich, and many highly ranked partisans, howled at Clinton over nothing, and dismiss those exact same real security breeches by their own party as minor inconsequentialities. Someone who loved America, even misguided at best, WOULD NOT DO THAT. . For example why won't Jason Chaffetz investigate Trump when he was planning to investigate Hillary on what we all now know, were fabricated and unsubstantiated charges? is that even human? Or is he a mole working to destroy democracy along with many others?
Why won't Nunes continue with his hearing? Is that even patriotic? Or is he too a mole working to destroy democracy?
Why did Mitch McConnell nix the plan to publicize Trump's Russian ties, which were known to our intelligence networks back then? Was he thinking of what was best for America? Or is he also a mole working to destroy democracy?
We all know there is and has been an arrogance oozing out of republican Capitol Hill. We, The People are considered a "problem" that has to be "dealt with" so they can "continue" to wine and dine each other and pretend to run the country on a schedule that has more days off than days on...
Being a Congressperson without having to deal with elections every 2 or 6 years, would be something they would all cherish. No more town halls packed with people challenging the trickle down lies they alternatively pretend are truth...
We know they would LOVE, to not be democratically elected... Is it then possible that the remote possibility exists that they are moles on orders to destroy American democracy? Hmmm.
When you stretch your mind wide enough to consider this, it is like that moment at work when you say... "Oh fucking shit, they are going to fire me" and suddenly everything that has happened over the recent past at your job-site, no longer seems completely crazy and absurd, no longer has everyone lost their mind, but now all past actions point to a grounded rational solution...
What I do want to point out to all who've read this far, is that IF you do accept the possibility that we have moles in place who are compromised to do other's bidding and work to destroy our democracy, then everything coming out of the Republican triumvirate, suddenly makes a great deal of sense...
They are trying to render government ineffective by destroying it cabinet by cabinet. They are trying to sow racial disorder so they can activate a police state. They are trying to find a scapegoat, and Muslims became their first target. Their actions show they are after power, the Constitution can be ignored when it gets in their way. All the past trimmings of government are no longer relevant, or will not be in the very near future... We don't need a state department. an energy department, an educational department because we are going to be a one party state soon. with everything run out of the White House.
We do need proof of their moleships.. To achieve that we will need citizen pushback. We need people asking each Republican, ARE YOU WORKING FOR RUSSIA RIGHT NOW, BECAUSE THAT WOULD CERTAINLY EXPLAIN AND MAKES SENSE OF EVERYTHING YOU ARE DOING....
If we can begin to do that, first at town meetings, then make it the topic of all TV talk shows... we may find this far-out fantastical theory isn't so far fetched... or we may find it IS so. We may find some things which scare the fuck out of us... But if we do ask and hold their feet to the fire, in the end we will still have an America that we can all love... If we don't pursue at least the exploration of that option, well, there is no other guarantee...
