Media Matters reports on a new (old) lie:
In his 2012 best-selling non-fiction book Killing Kennedy, O'Reilly writes on page 300 that as a "reporter knocked on the door of de Mohrenschildt's daughter's home, he heard the shotgun blast that marked the suicide of the Russian ... that reporter's name is Bill O'Reilly.
One problem: de Mohrenschildt's daughter's house was in Florida and on that day, O'Reilly was in Dallas at his job at WFAA, according to his co-workers at that station. Other witnesses and documents confirm his presence in Dallas and absence in FL.
He repeated the lie on (a) the Audiobook of Killing Kennedy; (b) Kennedy's Last Days, the "young readers" version of Killing Kennedy (yes there is one!); and (c) on Fox & Friends
Next -- O'Reilly reports that he is married to Morgan Fairchild.
