A GOP delegate to the St. Paul convention is claiming that he invited a female stranger to his hotel room and was drugged, "knocked out," and robbed of money, jewelry and other belongings with a value of at least $50,000. The alleged victim is Gabriel Nathan Schwartz, a delegate from Colorado.
However, police have quoted a figure of approximately $120,000 for the items stolen, including, according to TwinCities.com:
a $30,000 watch, a $20,000 ring, a necklace valued at $5,000, earrings priced at $4,000 and a Prada belt valued at $1,000.
Also, according to TwinCities.com:
Schwartz is a single attorney and a fixture in Colorado Republican politics.
"It's embarrassing to admit that I was a target of a crime. I was drugged and had about $50,000 of personal items stolen, not the inflated number that the media is reporting from an inaccurate police report," he (Schwartz) said.
"As a single man, I was flattered by the attention of a beautiful woman who introduced herself to me. I used poor judgment."

But wait.... It gets better than that! There is a video clip of Schwartz at the convention, spewing his political views, and it is priceless!
Change, according to Schwartz includes: "Less taxes and more war," specifically bombing the hell out of "Iran, Baby." This was all said with a cocky smile and a (perhaps) glazed look. He believes that Iran is threatening Israel and the US needs to "bomb the hell out of 'em from the sky... no troops." When asked how the US would pay for this, he said, "We should plant a flag. Take the oil, take the money," he said. "We deserve reimbursement." It goes on....
I can see why the woman in question was not actually attracted to him, after seeing and hearing him in the video. And actually, it's hard to feel sorry for his losses. This guy makes all of those people chanting "Drill, Baby, Drill," seem pretty sophisticated.
