~~~Heeeeeere we are! Born to be kings...We're the princes of the univerrrrrse!~~~
Well, now, this is unexpected.
At one point there were at least 4 other websites devoted to tracking ACA enrollments on a daily (or at least weekly) basis:
--Aaron Strauss (the guy who originally inspired me)
--Sarah Kliff at the Washington Post WonkBlog
--Actuarial Outpost
--EnrollMaven.com
Over the first 3 months, 3 of the 4 gradually gave up trying to keep a running tally...but Enroll Maven, an outfit which is openly opposed to the ACA (but which was being very reasonable and transparent with their methodology...in fact, I used to use them to cross-check some of my own sources) kept plugging away at it.
Well, today, contributor deaconblues brought it to my attention that Enroll Maven hasn't actually updated their own site since...January 1st.
Their tally is still stuck at around 1.9 million Private QHP enrollments.
So, as far as I can tell, ACASignups.net is now the ONLY website in the country still tracking enrollments on a daily basis. Huh.
Meanwhile, enjoy some Queen:
Oh, yeah... a couple more state updates today as well:
New York numbers updated: 241K Private, 139K Medicaid
Kentucky: Total enrollments up another 5K in past 4 days
