In addition to being named as the Defendant in Juror Doe's request for an injunction against the Grand Jury gag rule, "seven Missouri residents have filed a bar complaint against" Bob McCulloch and Assistant Prosecuting Attorneys Kathi Alizadeh and Sheila Whirley.
The complaint maintains that the trio "violated 15 Missouri Rules of Professional Conduct" including mislabeling and misplacing evidence and calling witnesses they knew or should have known would make false statements.
There is no word yet on who is behind the complaint but, according to KMOV in St. Louis, it "has been mailed to the Office of the Chief Disciplinary Counsel and will be hand delivered to the Jefferson City Office on Wednesday".
Poor Bob & Co. Such a bad day at the office - and it couldn't happen to a nicer group of people.
Update: KMOX in St. Louis has much more information on this story.
Attorney and former judge James R. Dowd and attorney Robert Ramsey reviewed the grand jury transcript – including evidence, witness interviews and testimony – before a group of seven citizens and attorneys – led by Christi Griffin, founder of the Ethics Project – filed an 11-page complaint with the Office of the Chief Disciplinary Counsel in Jefferson City, Missouri.
Griffin is also quoted discussing the fact that original statements from the Ferguson police chief indicating that Darren Wilson did not know about the store robbery were changed during Grand Jury testimony.
