NPR just reported that something like 150,000 to 180,000 absentee votes remain uncounted.
AP now reports Trump at just 50%, and dropping, with Biden at 48.8% and rising. They're separated by about 60,000 votes.
I'm going to go out on a limb and call Georgia for Biden.
Knocking on wood, naturally...
Update: and now, as of 7:15 p.m., Trump has officially dipped below 50%! He's at 49.9%, and they're separated by about 52,000 votes. Let's count on inertia to keep things moving in the right direction.
May kos be vindicated!
7:38 p.m. update: they are now separated by 1% and 44,966 votes. C'mon baby, hold together.
8:25 p.m. update: Biden is officially at 49%, meaning they are separated by.8%, or some 37,634 votes. Still trending the right direction, but I'm not sure who to trust when it comes to reports of absentee votes still outstanding. CNN claimed about 15 minutes ago that about 145,000 remain to be counted, but I haven't been able to confirm that anywhere else. May they be right.
