Am I alone in noticing the multiple camera views we’re getting from the House? It’s giving us a more complete picture and insight into what is really going on.
I do know that the Speaker of the House makes rules which severely limit what the cameras can cover, but as a taxpayer, I think we should have cameras as open as possible. We’re paying for this anyway so why should our view be limited at all??
Right now those rules don’t exist (in the absence of a Speaker) so the cameras are filming everything. Imagine this happening all the time. It would be wonderful.
With limits on camera views, Congress is boring to most people. With additional camera angles and wider views, more of the activity is visible and we can see the members actually doing the work they get paid for.
